Railway minister opens PRS centre at Kamakhya temple
IMPHAL, 20th June: Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu on Monday inaugurated a new PRS centre at the Kamakhya temple premises by remote from New Delhi. The inauguration function was held at the Kamakhya temple in the presence of a large gathering of devotees and common people. Besides Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister (I/C) for Petroleum and Natural Gas was present at New Delhi.
While at Kamakhya Temple N F Railway, general manager Chahatey Ram; Doloi Kamakhya Devalaya, Mohit Chandra Sarma and Kamakhya Bordeuri Samaj, president, Bhupati Sarma along with senior railway officials were present, informed a statement of N F Railway. It may be mentioned here that only last month while visiting the Kamakhya temple, the Railway Minister was requested for opening a PRS centre for the benefit of devotees coming from all over the world to which the minister agreed immediately.
