SOP for short term/urgent visitors issued

IMPHAL, 24th Jun: The state health department has issued a separate SOP for short term/urgent visitors which do not make quarantine mandatory for such visitors in the state. An order dated June 20 issued by chief secretary Dr J Suresh Babu stated that there are occasions when visitors come to Manipur on short stay of three days or less duration for urgent tasks holding return tickets. For this category of visitors, they shall inform their place of stay in advance to the state government. Such visitors shall observe social distancing norms rigorously, wear face mask at all times and ensure regular washing of hands with soap/hand sanitiser. Such persons will mandatorily undergo testing immediately on payment basis and Truenat testing will be charged at the rate of Rs 2400 per test, the order informed.
