During the operation, the troops of 201 CoBRA led by Manoranjan Singh, Assistant Commandant raided a Maoist camp and neutralised a weapon factory being run by the Maoists. For his conspicuous bravery, undeterred determination and unparalleled devotion the officer was awarded with coveted Police Medal for Gallantry (posthumously), it added.
