CHRONICLE BUREAU IMPHAL, 5th Dec: Manipur’s U-19 girls emerged overall team champions in the 63rd National School Games Wushu Competition on Tuesday at Guwahati, Assam.
The state girls secured a total of seven medals including four gold to claim the championship title.
P Thoicha (36kg), S Asha (45kg), H Pravabati (48kg) and N Romita (52kg) all made their mark during the competition by winning a gold medal each.
Kh Chaoba Devi (40kg) added a silver to Manipur’s tally while M Benalika Chanu (56kg) and P Sanathoi (60kg) chipped in with a bronze a piece.
The five-day-long competition wrapped up on Tuesday.
