Class X student donates to fight Covid-19

CCPUR, 18th Apr: In what could be termed as a significant contribution to CM’s Covid-19 Relief Fund, a class X student hailing from remote Suangdoh village in Churachandpur district has donated the entire money he had saved from childhood days to the CM’s Covid-19 Relief Fund.
The 15-year-old student Titus Khualthianlal is son of K Chinzatuan and Vungzaniang. The money he saved since childhood days totalling Rs 3,545 was donated to CM’s Covid-19 Relief Fund. The money was handed over to DC Churachandpur Pawan Yadav through village chief Paukhenkhup on Saturday. The money might be meagre but this could help government in the ongoing fight against COVID-19 pandemic, Titus Khualthianlal told this correspondent after handing over the money to village chief, adding that he has been extending help to people who are in distress. Titus is now reading at St Peter School, Langol Games village, Imphal.
