302 lockdown violators detained, penalised

IMPHAL, 12th Apr: Manipur Police detained 302 people and 226 vehicles for violating the lockdown on Friday, while collecting a fine amounting to Rs 24,600 in total.
According to a police report, in Imphal West District, 34 people and 45 vehicles were detained, while a fine of Rs 1,900 was collected; in Imphal East District, 22 people and 21 vehicles were detained, while a fine of Rs 2,100 was collected; in Bishnupur District, 71 people and 47 vehicles were detained, while a fine of Rs 6,400 was collected; in Thoubal District, 139 people and 87 vehicles were detained, while a fine of Rs 10,200 was collected; in Kakching District, 12 people and 21 vehicles were detained, while a fine of Rs 1,600 was collected; in Jiribam District, 15 people and 5 vehicles were detained; in Senapati District, 8 were detained and a fine of Rs 2,400 was collected, while in Tamenglong District, 1 person was detained.
