At the end of the meet, it was decided that the financial assistance to the 2020 persons who have registered under “Tengbang” and which have been published in the web may be given immediately after the claims period if there are no issues against the claim.
The Health department would start identifying quarantine centres for at least 1000 people in Imphal and also work out the availability of personnel required to make them functional. Geo-fencing app would be used for persons under Home quarantine and N-95 masks or PPEs will be given to anyone except the medical staff.
Each MLA would be allowed to collect 500 three-layered masks along with two cans of Sodium Hypochlorite for distribution and sanitisation in their respective areas. The Social Welfare department has been instructed to advise all rehabilitation centres to accommodate drug addicts who come to them for shelter. The department has been asked to tie up with the DCs to meet the rice requirement of children homes, orphanages and old age homes inmates and to give priority to them.
In order to clear any doubts in the minds of the public regarding the distribution/sale of rice, CAF&PD should furnish a daily statement indicating quantity of rice received, balance to be received and quantity lifted district wise and scheme/category wise to the Chief Secretary. The DCs will issue press statement everyday indicating rice received and quantity lifted indicating the quantity and the area/village for which it has been lifted.
The CAD&PD should take up with the FCI to make all warehouses, already constructed functional immediately and it should also get in touch with the concerned authorities of NAFED to ensure that the required quantity of pulses are delivered at the earliest so that they can be dispatched along with rice. Moreover, it was also resolved that the Health department will provide a temperature checking equipment and also occasionally examine the staff looking after the Zoo.
