Two suspected Covid-19 cases in state, patient stable

IMPHAL, 31st Mar: No new case of Covid-19 has been found in the state till Tuesday, said a report of the government of Manipur issued by the Medical Directorate. While informing that there are 206 quarantined people in government facilities, the report, however, disclosed that there are two suspected cases among the quarantined persons. According to a notification by Medical Directorate, there are 486 people/passengers under home surveillance while 355 passengers have completed their surveillance period. Number of samples sent for testing on Tuesday stood at two, both of which tested negative for Covid-19. The state as of now has only one positive case which has not yet been cured, it added. Meanwhile, condition of the state's first COVID-19 positive patient is reported to be stable. According to JNIMS authorities, all her vital signs are normal. Nonetheless, doctors are closely monitoring the patient inside the ICU of JNIMS to prevent her condition from deteriorating.
