KSA extends financial aid to MU Chemistry department

Imphal, Mar 30: As a mark of encouragement, honour and supporting the responsibility of producing hand sanitisers during the present crisis of COVID-19 taken up by research scholars and students of Manipur University Chemistry Department, Kangleipak Students’ Association (KSA) has extended financial assistance of Rs 50,000 to the department on Monday.

In a statement, KSA thanked the 18 research scholars and students of the chemistry department of Manipur University for their contribution in the fight against COVID-19. Since March 19, the department had produced nearly 600 litres of hand sanitizer and KSA has high regard for such noble endeavour, the statement conveyed.

The monetary aid was provided with the hope of providing dietary supplement to the persons who are working there and ensuring regular supply of raw materials needed for producing sanitisers, the statement said while drawing attention of chief minister to supply the requisite raw materials to the department.
