Govt calls up retired paramedic staff

Imphal, Mar 30: The Medical Directorate has called upon all the paramedic staff who have retired in between year 2017 to 2020 to report to the chief medical officer concerned, state programme officer or HoOs of respective districts immediately.

The employees, who have been called up to assist the government in preventing spread of Covid-19 in the state, included staff nurse, nursing sister, ANM/FHW, FHS, pharmacist, MHW and MHS.

As per an office memorandum issued by Health Services director Dr K Rajo Singh, all the chief medical officers or state programme officers or HoOs should report/furnish the name, mobile number and address of the retired paramedics by March 31.

It also advised all concerned to treat the notification as most urgent.
