MPCC chief asks Cong workers to help public
Imphal, Mar 28: In order extend help in the fight against the pandemic Coronavirus, Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president has advised all workers and members of units and frontal organisations to reach to the people in distress.
In an appeal, the MPCC president M Okendro urged the public to maintain the social distancing advisory while urging its workers particularly volunteers in the age group of 20-40 years to help people in hospitalisation, availing essential items, medicines and water. He further urged all to abide by the guidelines provided by the central government in combating the deadly Coronavirus.
While appealing to the MPCC workers to show the strength and courage of the party in fighting Coronavirus, the president also announced that the party has formed a Quick Response Team (QRT) in order to combat the virus.
