Power consumers in distress

Kakching, Mar 27: Due to the lockdown and closure of MSPDCL office, Wangjing Sub Division, consumers are facing problems in buying recharge cards.  

One of the consumers contended that there is no online recharge facility for the consumers of the MSPDCL Wangjing Sub-Division like other sub-divisions in the state. The service has been blocked for five months, so the consumers are facing hardship and their houses remaining in dark.

The consumer also informed that when they tried to get online recharge by visiting the official website it always read that "This facility is not available for Wangjing Sub Division".

Meanwhile, MSPDCL Managing Director has issued a notification urging consumers to register their complaints through mobile no. 7640081238 and 7640081232. However, the consumers still face problems in processing electricity recharge cards.
