Speaker’s tribunal to announce judgment on Shyamkumar today
Imphal, Mar 27: The Speaker’s Tribunal of the Manipur Legislative Assembly would be announcing its judgment over the disqualification case against Andro MLA Th Shyamkumar filed by Congress MLAs on charge of violating the 10th Schedule of the Constitution of India, on Saturday.
Cause list for March 28 issued by Manipur Legislative Assembly secretary M Ramani mentions judgment hearing for the petitions against Shyamkumar.
Mention may be made that 15 Congress MLAs filed petition against Th Shyamkumar praying for his disqualification for violating the 10th Schedule of Indian Constitution. The Supreme Court in its interim order dated March 18 restricted Shyamkumar from entering the state assembly complex and derecognized him as a minister.
