Orientation programme held ahead of NCPCR bench sitting
CHANDEL, 17th Oct: An official team of National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) on Thursday organised an orientation meeting of staff and volunteers of several NGOs ahead of the ensuing sitting of the commission’s bench in Chandel district on Friday. The orientation programme held at the multipurpose hall of the DC office complex was attended by NCPCR NE Cell technical expert Paresh Shah, NCPCR assistant administrator Rajesh Kanosia, NCPCR child health consultant Sukanya Sen, and commission member Brajesh Kumar as resource persons. DC Chandel Krishna Kumar, additional DC Dr A Chinglenkhomba and all the DLOs of the district were also present at the programme. DC Krishna Kumar stressed on the importance of the orientation programme for the smooth conduct of Friday’s bench sitting. Apart from the NCPCR bench sitting, Chandel ADC CEO and ZEO will also simultaneously organise other programme like assessment for implementation of women’s development schemes of Niti Aayog in aspirational district Chandel, disability assessment camp by Medical Board, and plastic free campaign under Swachta Hi Seva at the district mini secretariat on Friday.
