Training on children with disabilities held

BPR, 16th Oct: Relief Centre for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons (RCWDAP), Manipur in association with Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities of the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (NIEPID) and State Commission for Persons with Disabilities (SCPwD) organised a one-day training programme on ‘Early Identification and Intervention for Children with Disabilities’ at INA Hall, Moirang in Bishnupur district on Wednesday.
SCPwD managing director Dr RK Kumarjit, RCWDAP president P Gopendro, All India Primary teachers’ Federation New Delhi organising secretary A Keilyani and social worker Mahesh Thounaojam attended the programme as presidium members.
NIEPID Secunderabad assistant professor (paediatric) Dr G Mary Anurupa, NIEPID Hyderabad lecturer of occupational therapy Mugesh Thulasikanthaan and NIEPID Regional Centre Navi Mumbai lecturer of special education Ravi Prakash Singh spoke as resource persons during the training programme.
