Health scheme enrolment begins

NONEY, 14th Oct: In sync with the announcement made by chief minister N Biren during the recently held World Tourism Day celebration at Noney (Longmai) common ground, a special Week-long Enrolment Drive on various welfare schemes has been launched on Monday.
The launch programme held at Noney district headquarters was attended by deputy commissioner H Worshang and district level officials.
During the special drive, enrolment under Rashtriya Vavoshri Yojana (RVY) for 60 years and above citizens was also facilitated. The enrolment programme is as per the directive given by the CM at the Tourism event for conduct of special drive to enrol all eligible persons for availing relevant benefits as holders of PMJAY and CMHT cards as well as facilitate screening health of differently abled persons so that they receive assistance under various schemes of the Social Welfare Department.
The enrolment drive will continue at Nungba and Haochong sub-divisional headquarters from Tuesday till October 18.
