4th AMSSTA Day celebrated

IMPHAL, 14th Oct: All Manipur School Students Transporter’s Association (AMSSTA) celebrated 4th AMSSTA Day at Kakwa Naorem Leikai community hall Monday with CAF&PD minister Karam Shyam as chief guest.
Speaking at the event, Karam Shyam said that profession does not decide value of a person in developed societies but through responsibility and sincerity of the man/woman. With the changes brought by time and development, Manipur society too has changed a lot and professionalism ego is almost non-existent nowadays, he said and appealed to van driver carrying students to render their service with responsibility and dignity.
On AMSSTA’s motto ‘Children are the pillars of our future generations, AMSSTA are the carriers of the future generation’, Karam Shyam said AMSSTA would become a successful organisation when all its members fully digest the hidden idea of the motto.
The event was also attended by AMSSTA president Maibam Kennedy Singh and All Manipur Students Guardian Association secretary Sougrakpam Sumati.
The event was marked by offering of floral tributes to deceased members of AMSSTA, presentation of gifts to familes of deceased members and felicitation of meritorious children of van drivers.
