Smartphone filmmaking course from October 4

IMPHAL, 11th Oct: Department of Mass Communication, Manipur University in association with Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune will be organising a 10-day Smartphone Filmmaking Course starting from November 4.
In a release, HoD In-charge, MU Department of Mass Communication Dr Meenakumari Angom informed that participants will be taught on various techniques, methods and aspects of filmmaking ranging from camera angles, shots and movement, composition, sound, editing, planning, story/ script developing and lighting.
There will be 40 seats for the Smartphone Filmmaking course, 20 of which are reserved for individuals directly associated with Manipur University (present students, staff and teachers). Participants must be 18 years of age and qualification should be at least HSC passed although some exceptions may be made. Fees for the course are Rs 4,500 for participants associated with Manipur University and Rs 5,500 for outsiders.
Last date to apply for the course is October 20 till 3 pm.
