Centre firm on protecting state’s integrity

IMPHAL, 11th Oct: Chief minister N Biren on Friday said that Centre is firm on its stand to protect the state’s territory and integrity at any cost whatever be the outcome of the final solution to the Indo-Naga peace talks. Responding to posers from media persons on the sideline of a press conference held at the CM’s secretariat here on Friday, Biren said that the Centre has not provided any information regarding the progress and possible outcome of the ongoing peace talk with NSCN-IM. However, Centre knows the state government’s stand on its territory and integrity and is still firm on protecting the state and its integrity, Biren added.
