Career counselling held for JNV Bishnupur students

BPR, 9th Oct: Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Bishnupur organised a career counselling programme for its students on the topic ‘Inspiring Youths’ as part of its Pace Setting Programme at the school complex on Wednesday.
School principal Dr Mahesh Kumar and Apunba Ireipakki Maheiroi Sinpanglup former president Rajesh Yumnam released a magazine titled ‘Rhythm to the Nation’ - a collection of articles and other literary works by the students.
As counsellor of the programme, MU School of Mathematics and Physical Sciences dean professor N Rajmuhon encouraged the students to foster the habit of reading books penned by famous writers of the world. Youth are mentally, physically and spiritually sound and having the right education and knowledge during such stage of life is the most effective way of achieving success, he added.
The professor also urged the students not to go after materialistic wealth but nurture their souls and minds to serve the society and humanity for a better society.
He then encouraged the students to use time wisely, acknowledge education as the key to success and believe in themselves in order to achieve success in their lives.
Former AIMS president Rajesh Yumnam spoke on ‘Harmony in Boarding Life’ as resource person.
