Mega medical camp conducted

NONEY, 8th Oct: A one-day mega medical camp was jointly organised by Bengaluru based NGOs (AAROGYA -SEVA & Sunbird Trust) and RIMS Imphal at the campus of Berean Baptist Academy, Khumji in Noney district on Tuesday.
Over 600 individuals from around 20 villages of the district were provided free consultancy by 50 doctors including 14 dentists and specialists in paediatrics, ophthalmic, surgery, medicine, orthopaedic, ENT and dermatology during the camp. Blood sugar tests were also conducted free of cost. Besides, awareness talks on health and hygiene were delivered by the experts.
The camp was coordinated by Bengaluru based Health for India Fellow NE India coordinator Dr Ilhaam Ashraf. Sunbird Trust NE India administrative officer Ajinkya Mande, Sunbird Trust liaison manager Amos Inka, Berean Baptist Academy Khumji founder and principal reverend BT Pousiam and RIMS media advisor Philip Naoroibam were among other officials who were present at the camp.
