According to an RPF statement issued by its publicity secretary Roben Khuman, the 41st Raising Day of PLA were celebrated at its general headquarters, tactical command, strategic command, 252 mobile battalion and other units, departments, stations and also at party’s central bureau, SR-1, SR-2, SR-3 and SR-4.

Summing up Chaoren’s message, the statement said RPF president Chaoren wanted people of Manipur to deliberate on armed movement to restore the sovereign status of Manipur.
Though nobody wants war, there is no other option than to wage an armed movement to regain independence of Manipur and this has been made clearer by India’s administrative and defence strategies to permanently keep Manipur under its suppressive rule. Even though Indian forces have been arresting, torturing and killing revolutionaries, India is still unable to control the thought of independence imbibed in the minds of every people of Manipur.
In view of the continuing armed movement carried forward by revolutionaries, a serious conflict between India and Manipur is very much imminent in Manipur and in such a situation people have to be naturally in one of the two sides, the RPF statement said quoting Chaoren’s message.
