Seva Saptaha free medical camp held

CCPUR, 19th Sep: As part of the week-long Seva Saptaha observance, a one-day free medical camp was organised at Monglienphai village in Singhat assembly constituency of Churachandpur district Thursday.
The opening function of the event was attended by Singhat MLA and MANIREDA chairman GS Haupu as chief guest while local MDC Khaipao Haokip was present as president.
BJP Churachandpur district leaders were guests of honour of the event which started from 11 am. The free medical camp was conducted in collaboration with CMO Churachandpur.
During his speech, GS Haupu highlighted that the programme was organised to mark PM Modi's 69th birthday and expressed hope that patients will be benefited from the free medical camp. He thanked Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Churachandpur for bringing required medicines for all types of sicknesses. He said that all the PHSCs, PHCs and CHCs under the supervision of CMO Churachandpur are ready to render their services even to remote corner as health sector has been given top priority in the district.
Later, the Singhat MLA gave away financial assistance to seven senior citizens who turned up at the medical camp.
Local MDC Khaipao said that the free medical camp was part of Seva Saptaha observance being organised throughout the country to mark completion of 69 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
