Barak indigenes bolster ties with KMMS

SILCHAR, 13th Mar: Representatives of Assam Indigenous Peoples Protection Committee (AIPPC) and Manipuri Youths’ Front Assam (MYFA) met Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) chief Akhil Gogoi on Wednesday at KMSS head office in Guwahati to join hands in protecting the indigenous people of northeast. A special delegation of AIPPC and MYFA headed by Seram Herajit talked with Akhil Gogoi on various issues relating to the protection of indigenous communities of Assam in particular and North East in general. Sources said that the leaders also discussed about the ensuing Lok Shaba polls while agreeing to root out BJP from the entire northeast. MYFA secretary general Okram Lakhikanta, MYFA members Y Anit, A Sanajao, AIPPC advisor Tomij Uddin Laskar among others were part of the delegation.
