Rs 50,000 reward for info on kidnappers

IMPHAL, 10th Dec: Superintendent of police, Imphal West district has announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for providing information about the two accused kidnappers namely Songkhogin Kipgen alias Kenedy (38) s/o Letkholun Kipgen, who is the commander-in-chief of KNF-MC, non-SoO group and its member Ngamkholen alias Lelen (43) s/o Kaikholal. Both are from K Muotzol village, Kangpokpi district. In a statement, the SP informed that Songkhogin and Ngamkholen were involved in abducting three workers namely Bir Singh s/o Sh Sabir Singh of Haryana (company in-charge), Ramji s/o Kanhaiyalal of Uttar Pradesh (plant operator) and Dinsh Kumar Yadav s/o Rajadev Yadav of Uttar Pradesh (operator) from Kwairakpam Kusong, Sekmai river bank on November 29 at gun point and their whereabouts is not known till date. Police are carrying out search operations at suspected area and collecting information. Therefore, in order to nab the accused persons at the earliest and ensure safe rescue of the three workers, police seek information about the duo and their whereabouts and those who give the information will be awarded Rs 50,000, the SP said.
