SKY Hospital offers free heart care

IMPHAL,22nd Aug: SKY Hospital chairman and chief cardiologist Dr L Shyamkishore has announced that all the people regardless of poor or rich can now avail high standard of heart care (both interventional and surgical) service free of charge at SKY Hospital under the Chief Minister-gi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) and Ayushman Bharat (National Health Protection Mission) schemes and through reimbursement process (for government employees and their family members).

In connection with celebration of 72nd Independence Day of India, SKY Hospital and Research Centre, which is the only full-fledged heart hospital of Manipur, has been empanelled by the state government under the CMHT Scheme and Ayushman Bharat.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the state government and SKY Hospital on August 15 during a function at Chief Minister’s Secretariat with CM N Biren Singh in the chair. N Biren handed over the MoU to Dr L Shyamkishore empanelling SKY Hospital for implementation of schemes for free treatments of various heart diseases with immediate effect, conveyed SKY Hospital & Research Centre Pvt. Ltd PRO Roni in a statement.
