DIPR IMPHAL, 7th Apr: Chief minister N Biren Singh has urged Chief Minister of Meghalaya Conrad K Sangma to look into the plight of Manipuris residing in Meghalaya and also sought co-operation in the development of Manipur Bhawan at Redlands, Laitumkhra, Shillong.
Biren made the request during a meeting with Conrad at Chief Minister's Secretariat here on Saturday.

The Government of Manipur has also been actively considering development of the site in a befitting manner. However, there has been a long pending issue regarding the land records of this estate, Biren said while urging Conrad to direct the officials concerned for resolving the issue at the earliest.
Biren further handed over official letters regarding the matters to Conrad during the meeting.
