Normal trade resumes at Namphalong market

MOREH, 15th Feb: Namphalong market in Myanmar, which was gutted in a major fire incident on February 7 night, resumed normal trade from Thursday morning. Since the market remained closed several traders in Moreh including porters were hit hard but return of normal trade brought a breather to the traders and porters, who rely on the Myanmar market for their business and sustenance. Indo-Myanmar Workers Forum vice-president Md Ali has conveyed appreciation to Myanmar government for reopening the market.
