CM vows action against violators of SoO pact
STAFF REPORTER IMPHAL, 24th July, 2017: Terming the incident of gunning down of Nengneingah Khongsai, a class nine girl student, by Sasat Haokip, a cadre of Kuki National Army (KNA) which is under suspension of operation agreement with the government, at Moreh on Sunday as extremely unfortunate, chief minister N Biren asserted on Monday at the ongoing Assembly session that cadres of underground outfits under SoO agreement cannot do as they please by carrying arms.
Rallies, sit-in endorse demand for indigenes only ACs

Manipur Appropriation Bill, five demands passed
Along with passing The Manipur Appropriation Bill (No.3) 2017, members of the 11th Manipur Legislative Assembly on Saturday approved Rs 502,85,21,000 for five demands relating to state legislature, council of ministers, secretariat, municipal administration housing & urban development (MAHUD), and election.
